Little Monolith

I’ve written about megamichi and drahs already, and their attributes. Now, I would like to talk more about a beloved drah, that travels the world, but her home lies in Homdor. Her name is Little Monolith.

She stands taller than the trees. Her forward limbs brace and prop her up, while her shorter and stockier back limbs push her forward.
Her body is covered by stone scales, while the bone-platings of her shell are reminiscent of a cross-section from a tree. Other minerals have grown on the top of her shell, over the spawn of eons, ranging from quartz crystals to simple sediment.
Her limbs have long and hard claws, for two purposes. One, to dig into the earth and make her home, and second, to better push against the earth to move her massive frame.
Her head is supported on a long neck, her toothless mouth still hard and sharp enough to snap off branches from trees.
Despite the intimidating sight of such a huge Earthborn, her eyes hold no malice! Only curiosity, and peace. Whatever destruction she caused, was simply due to her nescience of the proper order of things.

Her locomotion reminds of a gorillas quadrupedal movement. Little monolith doesn’t move quickly, but her large steps allow her to cover ground at a tremendous rate.

She sleeps in her lair, a cave in the very west of homdor, for long periods of time, and even can spend ages hibernating there.
